This collection is inspired by Nwt (pronounced Newt), the ancient Egyptian goddess of the skies and heavens. Mostly depicted in nude human form, her star spangled body forms the heavens. Her body arches over us, touching the 4 cardinal points (north, south, east and west) of the Earth with only the tips of her fingers and toes.

Nwt is also the barrier separating the forces of chaos from the ordered cosmos in the world. She is seen as a friend and protector of the dead. She was often painted on the inside lid of the sarcophagus, protecting the deceased. The vaults of tombs often were painted dark blue with many stars as a representation of Nwt.

In Lady Pluuto's art, she represents the divine feminine and duality with her roles in death and rebirth. To Lady Pluuto, she is the perfect image for the element of duality in her artwork.

The Dreamscapes are a collection of environments that were created through the subconscious. No reference images were used. The paintings in this collection offer an escape from reality.

Lady Pluuto's inspiration behind this collection comes from appreciating the significance of small comforts in trying times.

"The depths of our shadows are the source of our light."
